UW-Stout's online Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) is an interdisciplinary major focusing on the development of individuals across the lifespan, within the context of family and culture. If you're committed to living or working away from campus the program's multidisciplinary approach will provide you with both a broad perspective and specialized knowledge. Our goal is to foster positive sensitivity to the needs of families and their members through the lenses of relationships, culture, gender, age, and life stage, among others. Applicants are encouraged to apply 6-8 weeks before the start of the term, however applications will be reviewed on submission.
The HDFS program utilizes an online tutoring service which consists of many subject areas.

$384 per undergraduate credit which includes the textbooks rental fee, no additional university-based semester or technology fees, and rate is the same no matter where you live
Refunds for tuition fees paid are prorated according to the length of the course and the number of weeks a course has been in session.
